How to look better to Lead better
Most mornings I run to the back of my house to conserve nature. It’s going uphill and hard. After slowly getting a little steeper, I got the glorious view am it revelation every time. The mood and bushes of the city change day by day. Sometimes cut in the fog, sometimes in the bright and shining morning sun. It’s always an opportunity to take a break and take stock. What is good in the world today? Isn't it amazing how nature bears the burden of humanity's hard work and suffering?
I believe that great philosophies give great insights. I always see more problems when I get on top of it. Avoid after climbing to look at anything that looks like an obstacle nearby. The mountains are amazing for this reason: the struggle to climb them is worth the path they take to the top.

If we are looking at things around institutional racism and how we can unknowingly contribute to it, we need to zoom in now. How much history can we look at? How about the original history of about 65,000 years? This is many times more than modern history. First Nations is the very cell of man, the amount and depth of culture that is present in DNA. It differs from the brief history and cultural myths of the European people. We see the world differently if we have various heritage and cultural practices that shape our experience.
If we become curious about it, it starts.
Expand the perspective.
And now zoom in. Look at the bottom of the surface. As the tree has roots, so the problem reaches our bottom.
If our first-generation people are being held in prisons more than others, what is the contribution? Poverty, isolation and despair. Go deeper. What is contributing to these problems? Land degradation, theft generation, oppression. And again, deeper, what is contributing to that? Better life and competitive competition from European arrivals. And for what reason? Poverty, crime, oppression.

Persecution turned into oppression.
We are more similar than not. We are the same and different.
When we can look at each other in the eye and feel our lives, our hearts, we have made a start.
We all have a heritage history. It shapes who we are and how we see the world.
As we climb up the shaky and craggy hills, seeing more of how we got here gives us a better way to get down from the rugged and treacherous peak.
We need to work.
