Three steps to identify and remove your limiting beliefs

"If you don't change your beliefs, your life will be like that forever. Is that good news?" - William Somerset Moghum

Did you know that on average a person makes about 35,000 decisions a day? If this sounds amazing, think about the following ...

At this point, you decide to continue reading this article or do something else. In other words, you make individual choices in every moment of your life and the total sum of those choices and the consequences we call our truth. To make it even more interesting, neuroscientists say that more than 95% of our decisions become completely unconscious.

The next question now arises, which one do you decide which one to choose next or which one is based on the decisions that affect you the most. This is where we come to believe that these are internal programs that control a large part of our daily choices and decisions.

Our beliefs are like software that only allows us to see content that supports such software on our screens. They build our expectations and manage our responses. We may have many hopes, aspirations and goals, but the real steps we need to take to achieve them will only be possible on a regular basis when we can at least partially break free from those limited beliefs that do not support the direction we want to go.

While we all have many limiting beliefs, the good news is that most of them are completely irrelevant and do not need to be dealt with at all. Beliefs that our life or business may have come to a standstill are justified by the fact that we are now beginning to take practical action on something that is important to us and we feel that we are not taking firm action on our subject or investigation. Which is activated automatically in us.

How to get rid of such limited faith?

For starters, it is important to focus on one area of life for a specific period of time. Or, better yet, just a goal that you see as a priority.

Think of a current goal of your own that is very important to you and does not face any further delays, at the same time you feel that you are moving too much in a circle and not taking as many practical steps as possible on the basis of importance as a goal.

Then ask yourself the following questions:

"Should anyone in depth believe that as a result, the way I behave about my goals?"

Then, without thinking too much, start writing down the thoughts that come to the page of your consciousness. They will usually present a belief that limits your engagement on the path to gaining your trust. Once such limited beliefs are "passed" from your unconscious mind to your conscious mind, they will no longer present a "process" that dominates your decisions, but will only be able to think about it and alternatively re-examine it.

Once such limited beliefs are "passed" from your subconscious mind to your conscious mind, they will no longer present a "process" that dominates your decisions, but will only be able to think about it and alternatively re-examine it.

Take 20 minutes a week for the process and repeat until you realize that old habits and behaviors will no longer affect your new decisions.

Another thing ...

Clients often ask me if it is necessary to have clearly defined goals, that is, whether it is possible to work towards overcoming the limitations of trust without clear goals. My answer is that it is possible, but to achieve the same effect you need to invest 10 times more time and energy.

Why?

All your attention will be scattered in different directions and it will be difficult for you to determine what your limiting beliefs are without the clarity of which direction you want to go.

No belief is limited by itself. It becomes limited only when we think that our goal is really important to us and hinders us from reaching the goal we want to achieve.
