The only way to feel good

It seems so simple, I know. It’s so easy that we want to make it harder, more mysterious. But the simple truth is that the only way to feel good is to think positive thoughts.
Likewise, the only way to feel bad is to think bad thoughts. It's really straightforward.
Because our thoughts create our feelings, what we want to think determines how we feel. Please note what we want to think about. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like we choose our thoughts because the negative momentum seems to be choosing our thoughts for us.
Negative speeds can sometimes feel like a runaway train. We may even be tempted to believe these negative thoughts. However, at any given moment, we can consciously choose a thought that feels better. Even if we choose a thought that only feels a little better, we have stopped the negative momentum and we have refocused on the more positive side.
We often want to blame other people or external circumstances for our bad mood. We think, "I would only like it if he/she changes." Alas, it depends on us. And that's where our strength lies.
Thinking of feeling bad is guaranteed to make us feel bad. Likewise, if we think of feeling good, we are guaranteed to feel good.
Feeling good is just as easy as thinking [or a little better], focusing on things that are easy to love, easy to appreciate, and easy to think about. Thus, we start backing up the sensitive scale. It doesn't feel good to know that we have the ability to choose how we feel!
The process is here: we are present and notice how we feel. When we notice that we are not feeling the way we want to feel, we take it as information. Information - not that we did something wrong or that we made a mistake in some way - but information that makes us think in a way that doesn't serve us. Once we become aware of our negative thoughts, we can then begin to choose the thoughts that seem better.
Some days it may seem more difficult than others but it is always the same process:
* Be present and notice how you feel.
* Choose thoughts with an awareness that feels better.
* Voila, your vibration has increased and you match a vibration with your will!
It’s easy and it works but it also takes practice. As we practice choosing such good thoughts and we get into the habit of feeling good, feeling bad too soon is so unacceptable that, at the first hint of negative emotion, we will curl it up and return to our natural state of well-being.
We all want to feel good and thankfully, the law of attraction teaches us how to do it. We know how to feel good and we have the power to feel good. What could be better than that!
